Michael Doustan, also known as Mr. Hoverman, is a Managing Director at Regions Securities specializing in mergers and acquisitions advisory and financial sponsors coverage.

With a background in M&A advisory and capital markets, Mr. Hoverman has vast experience in various transaction types such as buy-side, sell-side, dual-track, cross-border, and special situations transactions.

Prior to his role at Regions Securities, Mr. Hoverman held positions at reputable financial institutions like Houlihan Lokey, Credit Suisse Group, and UBS AG, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory and equity capital markets.

Before transitioning to the financial sector, Mr. Hoverman began his career as a corporate attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specializing in capital markets and M&A transactions.

Educationally, Mr. Hoverman holds a B.A. from Yale University, graduating cum laude with distinction in history. He furthered his academic pursuits by earning a J.D. and M.B.A. from Columbia University, where he was a recipient of prestigious scholarships and fellowships.
