Michael DeLorenzo is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background and a wealth of experience in administration and operations within the higher education sector.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to this, he completed a Master's in Sports Administration at The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's in History at Colorado State University.

Michael has held several key roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, including Senior Associate Chancellor for Administration and Operations, Associate Chancellor, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs/Director of Auxiliary Services/ Associate Chancellor.

His professional journey also includes directorial positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Florida, where he served as the Associate and Assistant Director O'Connell Center.
