Michael Dechert is an accomplished Managing Director at Farallon Capital Management, with an impressive background in investment banking and private equity. After studying economics at both Duke University and UCL, he began his career as an Investment Banking Sophomore Rotational Program and moved on to serve as an Investment Banking Analyst, M&A Group and Investment Banking Summer Analyst, M&A Group at Morgan Stanley. Later, he became a Private Equity Associate at Hellman & Friedman before joining Farallon Capital Management as an Analyst for the Value Team. Michael's expertise and interests include investment strategies, portfolio management, and financial analysis, all of which he applies to his role at Farallon Capital Management.
