Michael D. Conway

Michael D. Conway is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, based in the Philadelphia office.1 He has been with the firm since 1993, serving in various roles including Partner, Associate Partner, Engagement Manager, and Associate.1 Conway was the managing partner of the Philadelphia office from 2015 to 2021.1

Throughout his career at McKinsey, Conway has focused on biopharmaceuticals and global public health.1 He has worked with a diverse range of clients, including foundations, multilaterals, bilaterals, NGOs, government entities, and private companies.1 His expertise spans areas such as mergers and acquisitions, product development and launch, product strategies, restructuring, and post-merger integration.1

Conway co-leads McKinsey's Vaccines Practice globally and previously led the firm's Global Public Health Practice for 12 years.12 He is known for his work in international development, public health, and biopharmaceuticals, helping leading organizations in these sectors.2
