Michael Clarke
Assistant Dean, VCU School of Pharmacy Inova Campus
Michael Clarke is an accomplished educator and program administrator with extensive experience in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical research. With over 15 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist in critical care, Clarke has been instrumental in operationalizing Phase 2 and Phase 3 investigational medication protocols, serving as an Institutional Review Board member for over 15 years and as vice-chair for 10+ years. His expertise extends to clinical education, pharmaceutical research, and pharmacy administration. Clarke studied Pharmacy at both the University at Buffalo and Albany College of Pharmacy of Union University.
Currently, Clarke serves as the Assistant Dean at the VCU School of Pharmacy Inova Campus, where he previously served as Director of Pharmacy and Director of Training. Before joining VCU, Clarke worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Decentralized Clinical Staff Pharmacist and at Danbury Hospital as a Pharmacy Resident.
