Michael Caron has a diverse background starting in Military Intelligence and transitioning into the gaming industry, where he has spent the last fifteen years focusing on security at Blizzard Entertainment.

With a broad range of experience, Michael has worked in various security roles such as Security Operations, Security Engineering, Incident Response, OSINT, Insider Threat, Trust and Safety, Threat Management, Law Enforcement Interactions, Threat Intelligence, Vendor Risk Management, and elements of Physical Security, Data Privacy, and regulatory Audit compliance (PCI/SOX).

His career spans roles including Business Information Security Officer, Sr Manager for Threats and Investigations, Platform Security, Threat Intelligence and Partner Services, IT Security Operations, Information Technology Security Manager, and IT Security Engineer at Blizzard Entertainment.

Prior to his time at Blizzard, Michael held positions at MacAulay Brown as Computer Forensic Tool Developer, Network Security Analyst, and at Computer Sciences Corporation as a Senior Communications Systems Analyst.

Michael Caron's educational background includes a BA in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Connecticut.
