Michael Carey is an experienced business lawyer with a diverse range of clients including financial services, engineering, licensing, SaaS, manufacturing, retail, and service industries. Carey worked at CSA Group, where he was responsible for transactions, restructuring, tax, product liability, intellectual property, advertising, government relations, litigation management, insurance, and internal investigations. He has also worked as legal counsel and advisor for several companies, including serving as an associate at Macdonald Sager Manis LLP. Carey studied at the University of Saskatchewan where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in English. He later completed his Bachelor of Law at Queen's University and two internships, one in international business/trade/commerce, and another in an international trade internship at the United Nations Committee on Trade and Development.
