Michael Cakmes is a Sustainability Consultant at Arcadis with a passion for developing sustainability strategies for businesses, communities, and partners.

With a strong academic background in corporate social responsibility, Michael leverages his education and experience to tackle challenging environmental and social issues.

Having traveled extensively, Michael has witnessed firsthand the impact of sustainable development, corporate responsibility, and public-private partnerships across the globe.

Michael values creativity, loyalty, and collaboration, and enjoys exploring sustainability trends, cooking, and traveling.

Education-wise, Michael holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Certificate of Responsible Management, Investments & Portfolio Management from The George Washington University - School of Business.

Additionally, he has studied Corporate Sustainability in Scandinavia, Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, and Sustainability in a European Context.

Michael has held various roles including Business Development Manager at Fairtrade America, EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Environmental Defense Fund, and Transition Planner at Gilbane Building Company.

He also founded A-Team Parking in the past.
