Michael Berman

Michael Berman is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, virtualization, and cloud security. He is currently a Chief Engineer at TidalScale, where he has played a crucial role in designing and developing a Software-Defined Server (SDS). The SDS enables TidalScale's clients to perform big data exploration and real-time analytics, making it an essential component in the software-defined data center. Prior to TidalScale, Berman served as the Chief Technology Officer at Catbird Networks, where he led the design and development of vSecurity, a revolutionary virtualization and cloud security product. Michael has also worked as a Principal at IS-DATA LLC, providing elite enterprise security design and computer forensic investigation professional services. Over the years, he has worked for numerous service customers as an ISO 27001 compliance manager, Chief Security Officer, and Incident Response Manager. Michael received his Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of California Santa Cruz, and has several expired security certifications, including CISSP #4097.
