For students that are interested in qualifying for ICDC, I provide classes, coaching and tutoring services focused on written content, presentation preparation, and conference readiness.  Each year, the chapter I advise brings dozens of students to ICDC with at least 1 national champion.  I aim to provide the hands-on, actionable, and industry-based insight that enable students to reach their competitive goals. Like a booming startup, Harker's student-led business and entrepreneurship (B.E.) department has rapidly expanded to offer a variety of inspiring programs since its launch in 2013. Our B.E. department aims to develop, foster, and provide business and entrepreneurial education, leadership opportunities and career preparatory programs to high school students.

I teach a variety courses including Principles of Business & Entrepreneurship, Honors Entrepreneurship, and Economics.  I oversee a variety of programs including Harker DECA (an internationally recognized, award-winning competitive business chapter), TEDxHarkerSchool (a student-led team aimed at sharing ideas worth spreading to the local community), CareerConnect (a student-led networking, career preparatory, and professionalism program), BEcon (an annual convention for Bay Area high school students interested in business & entrepreneurship), Harker Podcast Network (multiple podcast series with a focus on business in the Silicon Valley and school culture), and Business Analytics (a student club that explore business strategy through case study discussion).

• Consults with small, emerging, and high-growth businesses through the startup business planning and investment preparation process
• Helped over 150 startups prepare for raising capital by developing their investment story and investor documents such as business plans, pitch decks, and financial projections.
• Responsible for client and project management, including efficient flow of information with the client and internal team, punctual product delivery, and maintaining professional relationships.
• Conducts initial consultation with potential clients, cultivates sales leads, and manages the sales process.

• Improved efficiency and profitability by producing break-even analyses and budgets for all services and trip offerings based on the analysis of expense reports and income statements.

• Lead a team of MBA student volunteers that offered free consulting to Pa’Amonim, a service organization committed to rehabilitating low-income Israeli and Palestinian families in financial distress. 
• Assisted the organization in determining incoming clients’ potential to eliminate debt, balance cash flow and begin a savings plan by developing a statistical model based on historical data from previous clients.

• Increased Hispanic youths’ exposure to higher education by organizing outreach fairs and scholar events.
