Micah McCrary-Dennis is a skilled Industrial Engineer, a problem solver, a leader, and a philanthropist who has a passion for crafting a sustainable future. With a diverse background in engineering, process improvement, critical thinking, and French language and literature, Dr. McCrary-Dennis has a proven track record in developing methods and achieving goals. Driven by a transformative attitude for equity and justice, Micah currently serves as the CEO of Mentor$chip, a non-profit company that aims to aid students in their scholarship attainment and educational career alignment through mentorship.
Dr. McCrary-Dennis has extensive experience working with various organizations, including Intel Corporation, Ford Motor Company, NASA, and PepsiCo, where he has held positions as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Reliability and Maintainability Engineer, Supply Chain Associate in Quality Assurance, and Project Management Intern, respectively. Micah has also been a Resident Company at PIE (Portland Incubator Experiment), a Coordinator and Student Mentor Supervisor at Florida State University, an Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistant at Florida A&M University, and a Teaching Assistant at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. In addition, he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in The manufacture of multiscale composites from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
