Mia Lei

Mia Lei is an accomplished professional with a diverse background and a strong educational foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Throughout her career, Mia has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing her versatility and expertise. Currently, she serves as an Assistive Technologies Associate at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. Prior to this, she worked as an HIV Prevention Associate at the same organization.

Mia also has experience as a Quality Improvement Officer & Global Health Corps Fellow at the Ministry Of Health Malawi, demonstrating her commitment to global health initiatives. She has contributed to transportation safety research as a Transportation Safety Research Assistant at the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

In addition to her public health and global health work, Mia has been involved in community organizing, charity care research, and capacity building projects. She co-founded GlobeMed at UNC, where she held leadership positions like Co-President and Executive Co-Director.

Mia's academic background includes research roles at various institutions, such as The University of Chicago and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has also gained practical experience through internships in virology research and engineering.

Her dedication to fitness and community building is evident from her involvement as a Group Fitness Instructor at the UNC Student Recreation Center and leadership roles in organizations like GlobeMed at UNC.
