M.Giovanni Valderas

M. Giovanni Valderas is an accomplished artist, educator, and cultural leader based in Dallas, Texas. He currently serves as the Exhibition Manager at the Ft. Worth Community Art Center.

With a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing & Painting from the University of North Texas, Valderas has a strong academic background in visual arts.

Valderas has held various roles in the art community, including Gallery Director at Kirk Hopper Fine Art, Adjunct Professor at Mountain View College and the University of North Texas, and Gallery Coordinator at Ice House Cultural Center.

He is a former member of 500x gallery and has been featured in prestigious publications like New American Paintings Magazine and the 2013 Texas Biennial.

Giovanni's contributions to the arts extend beyond his creative work. He was appointed by the Dallas City Council as the Vice Chair of the Cultural Affairs Commission, demonstrating his commitment to fostering cultural development in the region.
