In October 2021, Merlin founded the NFT franchise Metasaurs by Dr. DMT, which gained immense popularity by selling out in just 10 seconds. He is also the co-founder of MetaGames, renowned play-to-earn blockchain games on the WAX platform.

As the Chairman of the Board of Soothe, Inc., a multi-national wellness service provider founded in 2013, Merlin led the company as CEO for five years. Under his leadership, Soothe expanded to 64 cities across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, with a network of over 15,000 massage therapists, and secured over $80M in private equity funding.

Merlin Kauffman's entrepreneurial journey began at 17 when he co-founded eWireless, LLC, a company that developed one of the pioneer wireless hotspots. Subsequently, he started True Magic, LLC, a domain name investment firm with a vast portfolio of more than 55,000 domain names. His tenure at True Magic paved the way for his expertise in intellectual property, which he leverages for his innovative NFT projects.

A prodigious talent, Merlin's early career saw him working for AOL at the age of 11, where he gained hands-on experience in programming, community management, and platform moderation.

Merlin pursued Executive Education at Harvard Business School and completed his studies at Indiana University Bloomington.
