Merissa Yellman is a highly accomplished professional with a solid educational background and extensive experience in the field of public health and epidemiology.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's Degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and has also studied abroad at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Merissa's career has been marked by significant roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she currently serves as an Epidemiologist.
Prior to her current position, she held various roles within the organization, including Epidemiologist via Synergy America, Inc., and Guest Researcher.
Merissa Yellman has also contributed to public health initiatives outside of the CDC, having worked as a Public Health Educator at the Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas at Parkland Hospital, and as a Community Health Educator with the Peace Corps.
