Merijn Dols is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of business, innovation, and circular economy in the food industry.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Bradford, studied at the prestigious IESE Business School, and also pursued studies in marketing and engineering with a focus on industrial design at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

Merijn currently serves as the Global Director of Open Innovation & Circular Economy for Food at Danone, a leading multinational food-products corporation.

In the past, he held the position of Co-Chair of the 'Future of Food Brain Trust' at XPRIZE, showcasing his expertise in shaping the future of the food industry through innovative solutions.

Merijn has also been actively involved in various organizations within the food sector, having served as a Member of the Standards Committee at the Upcycled Food Association and as an Advisory Board Member at Toast Ale USA.

He was a Founding Member at MISTA, contributed as a Food Lab Member at Google, and lent his insights as an Advisory Board Member focusing on the Circular Economy for Food at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
