    Merel Vergaaij is a dedicated individual with a strong educational background in Space Exploration and Aerospace Engineering. She attained a Master's degree in Space Exploration with honors (cum laude) from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, she pursued a Minor program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Iowa State University.

    Currently, Merel Vergaaij is expanding her expertise as a PhD Candidate at the University of Glasgow. Her previous roles include serving as a Software Engineer in the Space Department at CGI and as a Management Assistant at TU Delft Space Institute. She has also contributed to research as a former Research Intern at the Colorado Center for Astrodynamics Research.
