Meredith Quinn
Opportunity and equity in higher ed.
Meredith Quinn is the Executive Director of the Center for Computing and Interdisciplinary Technology at the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology, a position she has held since December 2022. In her role, she manages compliance for various programs, implements grants, and represents the college at conferences as an industry expert. She also oversees the launch of new academic programs within the Center.23
Professional Background
Before her current position, Quinn served as the Associate Dean for Strategy and Academic Programs and Executive Director of the Fellowship Program at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute from August 2018 to September 2020. She also worked at Harvard University as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Provost from August 2015 to July 2018. Her earlier experience includes roles in strategic services project management and consulting, as well as positions in K-12 teacher recruitment.12
Education
Quinn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Harvard University, an MBA from Stanford University, and a PhD in History from Harvard University.12
Contributions and Initiatives
Under her leadership, the Center has recently secured a $1 million grant from Google to establish a Cybersecurity Clinic, aimed at providing cybersecurity services to BIPOC-owned small businesses and enhancing the college's cybersecurity training programs.3 This initiative reflects her commitment to fostering equity and opportunity in higher education and the tech industry.
