Mengtao He, also known as Pete, is a seasoned professional with a robust background in product innovation, sustainability initiatives, and new technology development across various industries.

With a solid educational foundation including a BS in Chemistry from Peking University, an MS in Chemistry, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Pete has honed his expertise in creating cutting-edge solutions.

His career spans impactful roles such as VP of Product Innovation at Tatcha, where he redefined product pipelines and orchestrated successful product launches.

Prior to this, he spearheaded sustainability efforts at Henkel in North America, focusing on green product development and fostering strategic partnerships.

Pete has also held pivotal positions at Dial Corp / Henkel and Unilever, where he led new product development initiatives and managed multidisciplinary projects from inception to market release.

A prolific inventor, Pete holds over 50 US patents and has a track record of transforming innovative ideas into marketable products.

In addition to his technical acumen, Pete has augmented his skills through business training programs at prestigious institutions like Cal-Tech, IDEO, and Thunderbird Business School.

Currently, he is engaged in new ventures as a Managing Partner, offering business and technology consulting services to a diverse clientele.
