The key objective of this role was to lead a team of three people and make the recently launched Intranet site the first point of information for all Corporate Banking staff. To achieve this I developed a comprehensive strategy to increase usage, manage knowledge sharing, invigorate content, and continually capture the needs of staff and management. In this role I worked with a broad range of the business to ensure that their BAU and future requirements were met efficiently.

This was a broad ranging role that enabled me to develop my strengths in developing internal communications strategies, writing for a wide range of media and audiences, and working with people from a range of levels with varying objectives. One of my key achievements was managing the production of a monthly update document for the UK Retail Bank to help implement one of the Banks largest change programmes to more than 45,000 staff.

Working as part of the marketing team to revive Dans positioning in the PC market and raise the profile of the Dan brand in key markets. My personal activities included, building relationships with key media contacts and agencies, researching future features and opportunities for promotion of the brand and activities and writing all copy. Responsible for the co-ordination of Marketing activities and raising the awareness and strengthening the positioning of Noble Dentons activities worldwide. My key tools were advertising, public relations and a comprehensive range of industry and company events, making full use of the companys expert nature to promote key aspects of its activities and achievement to an international audience of oil and gas professionals. I also initiated a number of initiatives to promote internal communications and the dissemination of key project data.

I was responsible for the successful marketing and repositioning of the John Strand brand internationally. From a standing start, I assisted and advised senior management in the development of marketing strategies, corporate design policies and co-ordinating their implementation. In accordance with these policies I went on to produce a comprehensive range of literature and online media to carry key messages and promote products to audiences. I also used advertising and industry events, from international exhibitions to exclusive property industry events, to publicise activities.
