Melissa Waddey, an accomplished healthcare executive, currently serves as the President of the Ambulatory and Operations Group at LifePoint Health, where she oversees vital areas such as physician services, service line development, telehealth, strategic marketing, sales, and integration.
With over 15 years of hospital operations and healthcare management experience, Waddey joined LifePoint in 2010, holding various key positions like Senior Vice President of Operations Strategy & Integration and chief of staff to the Chairman and CEO.
Prior to her tenure at LifePoint, she contributed to Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) for 11 years, holding roles such as COO at Summit Medical Center and Skyline Medical Center.
In terms of education, Waddey pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, followed by a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of St. Francis.
