Melissa Ng is a highly experienced and accomplished full-stack Software Engineer at Change.org, with a background in teaching and legal processing. With over six years of teaching experience, Melissa holds a Master's degree from Columbia University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, K-12. Her expertise in software engineering comes from her most recent academic pursuit at Holberton School. Before pursuing a career in software engineering, Melissa spent two years working for the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office, helping transition them to the software paperless era.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Melissa has demonstrated a deep commitment to education, data engineering, and full-stack software development. At Change.org, she serves as a Data Engineer Fellow and develops software solutions to increase the organization's efficiency and impact. Prior to her current role, Melissa worked as an educator for the NYC Department of Education and as a Rater for Educational Testing Service (ETS).
