Melissa Moore is a highly experienced public speaker, Buddhist teacher, and professional presenter of research. She has a Ph.D. in Psychological Anthropology from California Institute of Integral Studies and also holds a Master's Degree in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University. Melissa is an Acharya in the Shambhala Tradition and a disciple of Sakyong Mipahm Rinpoche. She is the founding director of The Felton Institute research and training division at Family Service Agency in San Francisco, and also the co-founder of Karuna Training, operating in Europe and North America. Melissa is a treatment innovator and lead author of Motivational Care Management. Her mission is to propagate innate wisdom, compassion, and sanity in all arenas of life. She currently serves as the Executive Director of North America at Karuna Upaya.
