Melissa Mongiat is a co-founder of the renowned art and design studio Daily tous les jours along with Mouna Andraos, established in 2010 in Montreal. The studio pioneers a unique blend of technology, storytelling, performance, and placemaking to redefine contemporary communal living.
Over the years, Daily tous les jours has received esteemed international accolades such as the UNESCO Creative Cities Design Award for Young Talents, Knight Cities Challenge Award for Civic Innovation, Fast Company Innovation by Design Award, and Americans for the Arts Public Art Network Award, solidifying its position as an innovative force in the industry.
Before founding Daily tous les jours, Melissa honed her craft in London, contributing to the creation of large-scale public interactive installations and playing a key role in establishing Central Saint Martins' research unit on responsive environments. Her collaborations spanned prestigious entities including the Southbank Centre, Philharmonic Orchestra, Philips, and Arup, earning her recognition by Wallpaper* magazine as one of the top ten breakthrough designers worldwide.
Melissa's educational background comprises a Master's degree with Distinction in Narrative Environments from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Université du Québec à Montréal.
In addition to her current role at Daily tous les jours, Melissa has previously co-founded ventures like Amuse, Like People Do, and Milk & Tales. She has also contributed her expertise as the Graphic Design Lead at Lemay Architecture & Design.
