Melissa Marksbury Roe, CPXP, is the Director of Patient Experience for ScionHealth, where she supports both specialty and community hospital divisions by creating and implementing strategies to enhance the patient experience.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare marketing, public relations, and hospital operations, Melissa is a subject matter expert in evidence-based best practices that drive patient satisfaction.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations from California State University, Fresno, and she is recognized as a LEAN certified Green Belt and one of the first Certified Patient Experience Professionals in the country.

Melissa's expertise spans various roles including System Director of Patient Experience at KentuckyOne Health, Director of Business Development, Marketing, and Public Relations at Saint Catherine Regional Hospital, and Marketing Manager at University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Her responsibilities involve overseeing patient satisfaction survey processes, interpreting data, and aligning patient experience initiatives with quality, safety, and company culture strategies.
