Melissa Leavitt
Melissa Leavitt holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, an M.F.A. from The University of Montana, and a B.A. with Highest Honors from University of California, Davis.
Currently, Melissa serves as the Director of Research at Strada Education Network, focusing on advancing equity in education and employment.
Prior to her current role, she held positions such as Senior Research Fellow at Strada Education Network, Researcher/Content Strategy Manager at InsideTrack, and Associate Director of Scientific Communication at National Psoriasis Foundation.
Her experience also includes roles like Senior Development Writer at Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, Writer and Editor at University of Montana, as well as various teaching and advisory positions at Stanford University.
With a strong foundation in research, synthesis, and storytelling, Melissa excels at distilling complex information into key messages that drive impactful action.
