Melissa LaFayette holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business and Marketing from Gonzaga University. She further pursued her education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington.
Melissa has held various positions that have enriched her professional experience. She currently serves as a Field Director at the National Development Council. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Director at the same organization. Melissa has also gained valuable experience as a Program Evaluation Intern at Ventures, Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Community Economic Development Volunteer at the United States Peace Corps, Business Assistant at Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, and Assistant Director at St. Francis Academy Community Center.
