Melissa Knox is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Software Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, based in Menlo Park, California. She has extensive experience in client coverage and deal execution across mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions. Since joining Morgan Stanley in May 2015, she has been involved in significant M&A advisory roles, including advising major companies on their sales and acquisitions, such as ACS's sale to Xerox and Splunk's acquisitions of Caspida and Phantom.1
Prior to her role at Morgan Stanley, Melissa spent nearly a decade at Citigroup, where she focused on the software sector within the Global Technology Group. Her earlier career includes a position in Corporate Finance at Hewlett-Packard, where she led financial planning and reporting for HP's Financial Services division and contributed to the integration of the HP/Compaq merger.1
