Melissa Knox is a highly accomplished Managing Director and Global Head of Software Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley with over 10 years of experience in the software industry. Knox has successfully executed M&A and capital markets transactions for a variety of high-profile companies such as ACS, EDS, Blue Coat, Optiv, and Splunk, among others. Knox has also led equity-focused deals such as the IPOs of Palo Alto Networks, Instructure, and Forescout, to name a few. Prior to her role at Morgan Stanley, Knox held key positions at Hewlett Packard, where she worked on the integration of the HP/Compaq merger, and Citigroup. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. With her extensive expertise and experience, Knox brings a wealth of knowledge to her role and is held in high regard in the industry.
