Melissa Gregg
Melissa Gregg is a distinguished researcher and thought leader at Intel, recognized for her expertise in the field of user experience and applied ethnography. Holding a PhD in gender and cultural studies, Melissa has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and books, which have anticipated key shifts in the experience of connected work and home life. Her accolades include being Intel's Chief Social Scientist and Chief Technologist for Sustainability in the Client Computing Group. Melissa started her career in academia in Australia before leading Intel’s social computing investment in universities. She has built user research to a position of strategic impact in the PC business guiding the roadmap for product development and architecture. Her team advises and influences across consumer and commercial segments, including the EVO brand. Melissa is driving a fundamental reckoning with business as usual for the PC industry to ensure the finite resources providing connectivity today can continue into the future.
