Melissa Dallal is the Project Manager for Interior Design at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York. In her role, she is responsible for managing art acquisitions across the hospital's 30+ locations in the New York tri-state area. This includes collaborating with art consultants, galleries, and stakeholders to curate and furnish art for both new construction and renovation projects, as well as overseeing special site-specific commissions.1
Dallal's background includes experience in award-winning hospitality design, which she applies to create healthcare environments that foster positive experiences for patients, staff, and visitors. Her work has contributed to the hospital's broader environmental design vision, aiming to inspire and engage through art. Notable projects under her management include large-scale commissions that have received international recognition, such as the "Long Island Tapestries" and "New York Sculptures," both of which won the CODA Award in 2019 and 2020, respectively.12
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Columbia University and a Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Additionally, she is certified as a National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and is a LEED Green Associate.23
