Melissa Biser

Melissa Biser is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in individual studies, organizational studies, communication, project management, and interior design.

She holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Individual Studies with Honors from Foothill College, a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Organizational Studies and Communication from the University of California, Davis, and a Professional Certificate in Applied Project Management from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Melissa also pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Interior Design and obtained advanced certificates in Facilities Planning & Design and Computer Aided Drafting from West Valley College.

Having worked at prominent organizations, Melissa Biser has held various key roles, including Director of Marketing & Growth Program Management, Senior Program Manager of Marketing & Communications, Senior Project Manager of Marketing & Communications, Project Manager of Marketing, and Executive Assistant to VP-Product & Marketing, CEO, and CTO at GitHub.

Before her tenure at GitHub, Melissa gained valuable experience as a Human Resources Intern at Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NOOK), an Executive Assistant at Sageview Capital LP, an Interior Design Project Manager / Administrator at Van Cott Design Group, and an Assistant General Manager at Buca, Inc.
