Formerly Quick Sync Music founded by Melissa Aubert in 2016, the company was relaunched as Echoette in 2023 as a music publisher offering an expanded array of services to our artists and clients, with enhanced pitch services, faster artist onboarding, management, distribution, and artist-friendly administration.

PASSENGER BAR was a Williamsburg watering hole designed by Melissa Aubert and inspired by the 1970 rock ‘n roll film Festival Express, which documented the cross-country train ride taken by musical legends who converted a train into a moving recording studio. The welcoming, two-story space was reminiscent of an old train station with cozy dimly lit booths and luggage racks upstairs in the curtained “sleeper car” that overlooked the bar and ground floor. Railroad-esque details ran throughout, each bathroom stall having it’s own unique travel mural or vintage postcards turned into wallpaper, and a real 1,100-pound train rail anchored as a footrest. Travel also inspired the regional Bloody Mary and cocktail menus, and empanadas were served w/Passenger's own hot sauce served in bourbon bottles. 

A large hand-built table would convert into a stage for live performance by notable artists/Djs, burlesque, go-go dancers, comedy, film screenings, art classes (by Pioneer Works), tattoo events, vintage pop-up shops, as well as tv/film wrap parties, after parties, and other curated events to create the collaborative community that was Passenger. We were also the first home to the now patented Self Portrait Project Photobooth, which was seen throughout social media and dating profiles for years. 

Sadly, the building was sold to a developer and we were given a buyout in order for them to tear the Bldg down. I chose not to reopen in a new location.  I felt fortunate to realize one of my dreams, to design, build out, raise the capital from investors David Cross, and open a place in only 4 months, and to produce some very fun events with a community of very talented artists, collaborators, and friends. Passenger Bar

Owner / Investor Procurement, Designer, Event Producer 

•	Handled management responsibilities for multiple artists, collaborated with label, agent, and public relations to develop all aspects of artists career. Artists included Duran Duran, TV Mania (Nick Rhodes), Andy Rourke (The Smiths), Carina Round, Early Winters, Echo & the Bunnymen, Fischerspooner & ZAZA. Diane Birch, Alice Smith, and others 
•	Planned and launched new full-service licensing division for the company. Pitched tracks to existing database of music supervisors, trailer houses, and production companies to procure music placements and negotiated fees. Cleared all music and negotiated contracts. 
•	Generated opportunities, secured label and publishing deals, and negotiated contracts for artists. Hired and collaborated with agents, tour managers, stylists, and other staff to be part of artist’s team.
•	Conceptualized artist release strategy, wrote and implemented marketing plans, coordinated online and new media campaigns, and direct radio promotions. 
•	Created labels for two artists, hired distribution, PR, Radio promo, and set up for multiple releases and partnerships. 
•	Initiated and executed branding and sponsorship opportunities for our artists worldwide. 
•	Planned and executed large celebrity events for various clients and in various cities working within budget parameters. 
•	Produced a TV show for client Andy Rourke called Tune In/Tune Out for French Kiss Records TV and music video producer for Early Winters. Designed album artwork for Carina Round and Early Winters.

Magus Entertainment

Artist Manager / Music Licensing Manager / Sponsorship procurement 

•	Handled day-to-day management and marketing responsibilities for multiple artists to develop all aspects of their career.
•	Coordinated all aspects of James Brown’s international tours and his band of 25 musicians/dancers.
•	Set up marketing and publishing divisions for our record label. 
•	Set up showcases for prospective clients and scouted for new artists at festivals and live shows.
•	Project managed on various tech projects including a tour book application and a dating platform.

Intrigue Music

Tour Coordinator / Marketing Manager

•	Booked bands, DJs, and painter/photographers for events which promoted local artists in the community.
•	Rented event spaces, equipment and PA system, trained all personnel, managed budget, and acquired sponsors.
•	Designed artwork for flyers and posters to promote events through advertisements, distribution, and media.

•	Pitched clients, obtained offers, and negotiated deal points with promoters for private and public engagements.
•	Liaison between artists, managers, record labels, and promoters for publicity, promotional, and all additional needs.
•	Gathered artist tour information from over 40 different agencies and compile database for agents/managers to use.
•	Personally requested by executives to join Trainee Program. Created ideas for various projects which company utilized.
•	Created artwork for WMA compilation CDs, which were distributed internally and at marketing conferences. 

•	Revamped music website, built a booking component, & collaborated w/design firm and IT depts.
•	Designed graphics for websites and for various departmental projects.
•	Maintained and updated all content on the WMA and ATA (Associated Talent Agencies) websites.
