With a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Language and Literature from Eastern Michigan University, she has gained extensive experience in various retail and business environments. Melissa has also volunteered in several positions, further building upon her skills and shaping her into a well-rounded professional.

After discovering her interest in technical writing and accounting, Melissa began pursuing a new career path while continuing to work part-time in various positions. She has honed her skills in QuickBooks and ADP while completing bookkeeping and payroll tasks for several companies, such as Brightline Technologies, Technology in a Box LLC, and Strategic Partners, Inc. Her extensive knowledge of file and data management, social media management, and special project oversight further enhances her expertise.

Currently, Melissa is managing and serving as a student advisor for Plymouth Yoga Room, a thriving yoga studio. Her specialties include procedure development and implementation, staff and office management, and human resource management, making her a valuable asset to any organization.
