    Melanie Moulder is a dedicated student completing the European & International Human Rights Law advanced master’s program at Leiden University, following her J.D. at Tulane University. Her career goal is to work in the human rights field within the Netherlands or neighboring regions, particularly focusing on areas like criminal justice, rule of law, human rights and terrorism, women’s rights, and freedom of expression. She aims to contribute through advocacy, research, or direct community engagement. Her educational background includes a dual program at Tulane University, where she earned a Juris Doctorate and a Masters in Social Work, enabling her to acquire legal expertise alongside a deep understanding of the social impact of the law. Melanie has honed skills in legal research, writing, community advocacy, and case management, covering topics such as U.S. criminal law, constitutional law, international public law, international human rights law, nonprofit organization management, and trauma's effects on individuals.
