Melanie Leger

Mélanie Léger, a talented playwright and actress, has written numerous plays including 'Roger, Roger,' 'Vie d’cheval,' and 'Je…Adieu.' She has been actively involved in the theater scene, being recognized with the Suzanne-Cyr 2013 award from the Fondation pour l’avancement du théâtre francophone au Canada.

In addition to her writing, Mélanie has showcased her acting skills, starring in productions like 'Bump, la secousse de Springhill' directed by Mathieu Chouinard. She co-directs Théâtre Alacenne, a creative company based in Moncton, and has conducted theater and writing workshops in Canada and abroad.

Mélanie Léger's educational background includes a Baccalauréat en Art dramatique from the Université de Moncton, a Maîtrise en théâtre from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and she has studied auteure pour la télévision at L'institut national de l'image et du son (L'inis). She completed the regular fiction writing program for television at L'inis and has received accolades for her short film 'Emma fait son cinéma.'
