Melanie Kocher

Melanie Kocher is currently serving as the Redaktionsleiterin Unterhaltungsformate (TVR) at CH Media, a position she has held since November 2023. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, she has a background in media and entertainment, having previously worked as a VJ and editor for entertainment formats at the same company from August 2022 to November 2023.

Her professional journey includes experience as a Development Assistant at Walt Disney Television from May 2018 to June 2021, where she was involved in various aspects of show development and creative feedback. Before that, she worked in HR Operations at Ringier AG for a brief period in 2022.

In terms of education, Kocher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Screenwriting from Chapman University, which she completed in 2015. She also has a Swiss Matura Certificate in Modern Languages from Kantonsschule Wiedikon.

Additionally, Kocher has been recognized for her achievements in synchronized ice-skating, having been part of the Swiss national champion team in 2010, which allowed her to compete in the World Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs, USA.12
