Melanie Fedri

Melanie Fedri holds a PhD in Higher Education from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. With a strong academic background, Melanie has over 3 years of experience as the founding program manager for a university-wide elective program in social innovation.

In her role, she excelled in program planning, design, marketing, and delivery, collaborating with faculty and staff across the university. Melanie's super-networker skills helped her develop funding opportunities and a community of DC-based mentors. She is known for being a highly engaging facilitator, instructor, and administrator, creating impactful experiential learning experiences.

Currently, Melanie Fedri serves as an Assistant Professor and Experiential Learning Coordinator at George Mason University's Honors College. Prior to this role, she worked as an independent consultant at Fedri Consulting and held positions such as Program Manager in Social Entrepreneurship at George Washington University, Qualitative Researcher at Penn State University, Managing Editor at the American Journal of Education, and Personal Assistant to the Secretary-General at Baha'i International Community (BIC).
