Mehrdad Arjmand, Ph.D.

Mehrdad Arjmand, Ph.D., is the Director of Engineering at Renewance Inc, where he leads innovative software development initiatives focused on renewable energy solutions. He has a strong academic background, having earned both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was also recognized with the Forward Under 40 Award for his contributions to clean energy and entrepreneurship.12

In addition to his role at Renewance, Arjmand is a co-founder of NovoMoto, a social enterprise aimed at providing clean energy solutions to off-grid communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
