Mehmood Khan, Managing Trustee of Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust

Mehmood Khan is the Managing Trustee of the Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust (RKKT), a non-profit organization working for the all-round development of people at the grassroots level in the Mewat region of India.1235 He has lived in various countries like Holland, Singapore, and the UK, but now resides in the villages of Mewat.1

Khan did his Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) in 1977.1 He has worked extensively in the voluntary sector, focusing on making Indian livestock more productive and developing cottage industries.1 This work led him to build professional farmers' organizations.1

From 1982 to 2009, Khan worked at Unilever in various roles, including Marketing, Exports, Procurement, Business Development, and Innovation.1 He pioneered new Unilever businesses in countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, and North Korea, while also developing new portfolios in China and other East Asian countries.1 He served as the Global Leader for Unilever's Innovation Process Development, helping accelerate business growth through innovation by establishing Unilever Innovation Communities across the business.1

Khan is also the Founder President of the IIM Alumni Europe network.13 He has been married to Sanobar for 35 years, and they have two grown-up children.1

In 2019, Khan contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Gurgaon constituency, promising to empower women and villages.4 He continues to work towards making the world a better place to live and enjoy life.1
