Meghan Aftosmis is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and media strategy. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and began her career as an editorial intern at National Geographic. She later worked as an Assistant to the Editor in Chief at Cosmogirl Magazine and as an Associate Researcher and Smart Traveler Reporter at National Geographic. Meghan has also served in various leadership roles at Thompson & Co. Public Relations, where she was responsible for overseeing media strategy, executing campaigns, and developing client relationships.

Currently, Meghan serves as a Senior Public Relations and Media Network Lead and President of the Board of Directors at Impact Travel Alliance, a global community aimed at promoting sustainable travel and development. Her professional experience and expertise in media strategy, public relations, and sustainable travel have enabled her to build a successful career in communications.

In her free time, Meghan enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures, volunteering for various non-profit organizations, and advocating for sustainable travel practices.
