Additionally, she helps estate planning attorneys, tech companies, individuals and organizations address how to better plan for difficult situations presented by incapacity and death, in a world with an ever-changing tech landscape. She provides information, tools and resources to guide you through the maze of what should be done with digital assets in the case of incapacity or death.

Provided legal advice, assistance and representation for older adult and low income residents of Marin County on topics including eviction defense, homelessness prevention, debtors’ rights, elder financial abuse and consumers’ rights. Negotiated, drafted and executed a wide variety of court documents, repayment agreements and settlement agreements related to civil disputes and litigation. Represented clients in administrative hearings and superior court appearances.  Developed and delivered legal educational presentations to older adult community groups on low income estate planning and consumer protection. Assisted in organizing and teaching CLE presentations.

Selected as one of three recent legal graduates for this nationally competitive program to receive funding for the development of a project to expand agency’s services to provide legal advice and assistance to older adults and disabled adults asserting and defending their rights in Small Claims Court. Legal Intern

Conducted client interviews in Spanish and drafted a class- action petition to the Inter- American Human Rights Commission on behalf of innocent victims who were unjustly imprisoned during Peru’s internal conflict. Participated in field research on the political movements of victims in Peru following the work of their truth commission. Investigated cases of medical doctors imprisoned for upholding the Hippocratic Oath and wrote an amicus brief to the Inter-American Human Rights Commission on behalf of the doctors.
