Megan Maloney, Founder & Managing Partner at Dria Ventures

Megan Maloney is the Founder and Managing Partner of Dria Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in founders building in critical industries.1 She is also an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School.4

Prior to starting Dria Ventures, Maloney was a Principal at General Catalyst, where she worked on investments in companies like Grammarly, Livongo, Stripe, Gusto, and Samsara.2 She was a board observer for many of these portfolio companies.

Before transitioning to venture capital, Maloney worked in investment banking and sales and trading at Morgan Stanley, covering companies like Workday, Ancestry, and ServiceNow.2 She has a bachelor's degree in economics and music from Columbia University.4

Maloney is passionate about increasing diversity in the venture capital industry. She recently launched The Historic Fund, a $10 million initiative to enable 9 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to invest in top VC firms like Acrew Capital, B Capital, General Catalyst, and Union Square Ventures.5
