● Overseeing, supporting on and ensuring excellence in delivery of logistics for events and content across the portfolio
● Growing strong relationships with key partnerships and sponsors ensuring excellent execution of inventory and deliverables

Head Of Event Operations

Leading the events team at White October Events to curate, design, plan and deliver conferences for up to 1,500 delegates for large companies in tech industry both here in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Key responsibilities:
● Creation and management of event budgets of up to £1m
● Management of all direct costs to meet revenue targets while
maintaining a high standard of delivery for attendees
● Line management of three direct reports ensuring a high level of
operations and financial delivery across seven large annual
events
● Mentoring direct reports to improve process, quality of delivery
and implementation of creative aspects to an event
● Maintaining genuine and strong relationships with suppliers
including, venues, production, catering and staffing
● Accountable for all negotiation of venue contracts up to spends
of £300k
● Setting project plan timelines for the events team and wider
business
● Analysing customer feedback and implementing changes for
events and the business after every event
● Creating an appropriate look and feel for each event by
understanding customer priorities
● Managing relationships with the key conference partners
● Budget reconciliation at the end of project with key reporting
measures to be shared with the board and conference partners

General administrative assistance to Estate Development staff, including diary management, bookings for rooms, travel and catering. 
Word processing of letters, contracts and technical specifications 

Reception duties including;
Receiving visitors, making refreshments, answering the phone, taking messages and dealing with queries, liaising where necessary with colleagues in other parts of the organisation.
