Megan Holston-Alexander is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where she manages the Cultural Leadership Fund (CLF). Before joining Andreessen Horowitz in 2020, Holston-Alexander was a consumer investor and a founding team member at Unusual Ventures. There, she developed programs like the Unusual Academy and the HBCU Engineering Interns Program. Her early career included roles in the nonprofit sector, where she supported research and lectured at San Jose State University, as well as managing a nonprofit incubator.12
Holston-Alexander emphasizes the importance of recognizing and uplifting Black culture, which has significantly influenced global society and business. She advocates for the visibility of Black talent in technology, noting that the CLF donates all management fees and carry to nonprofits focused on increasing Black representation in tech.23
