Megan Friddle

Megan Friddle is the Director of the National Scholarships & Fellowships Program at Emory University. With a background in higher education administration and instructional technology, Megan leads recruitment, advising, nomination, and selection processes for internal and external merit-based awards. She combines her enthusiasm for undergraduate advising with her expertise in research design and writing pedagogy to assist students in pursuing nationally-competitive scholarships, fellowships, and professional placements.

Megan Friddle holds a PhD in American Studies and Gender Studies from Emory University, an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Penn State University, and a BA in Liberal Arts with a focus on Literature, Writing, and Philosophy from Sarah Lawrence College. Her extensive educational background has equipped her with valuable knowledge and skills in various disciplines.

Prior to her current role, Megan has held several positions within Emory University, including Assistant Director and Program Associate in the National Scholarships & Fellowships Program, Interim Assistant Director of Academic Programs at the Rollins School of Public Health, Academic Adviser, and Instructional Technologies Specialist, among others. She has also served as an Academic Advisor at Penn State University and as a Lecturer in the Department of English.
