Megan Christenson is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in working with early-stage ventures to develop growth strategies across various sectors.
In 2017, Megan founded The Lean Jane, a firm specializing in social innovation design and impact investment strategies, collaborating with renowned organizations like the REDF Impact Investment Fund and Acumen Fund.
Before establishing The Lean Jane, Megan served as Sr. Director of the Civic Accelerator, which was later acquired by Acumen Fund, where she was responsible for startup recruitment, program design, and direct investment.
Megan holds an MBA and MA in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Apart from her professional engagements, Megan is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Loyola University Chicago and is actively involved in various roles across different organizations within the social impact and innovation space.
She is based in Chicago and enjoys teaching yoga classes, leading Pizza Tours on weekends, and is fluent in Spanish.
