Meera Bains is a professional with a diverse educational background and experience in broadcast journalism and environmental studies.
She pursued a 2-year Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and further advanced her education with a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Ecology from the University of British Columbia/Thompson Rivers University.
Meera currently serves as a Radio and Television Reporter/Editor at CBC, showcasing her expertise in the field of journalism. Prior to her role at CBC, she excelled as a Television News Producer at Channel M, under Multivan Broadcasting Limited.
