Additionally, Meemi has experience working with the United Nations, where she served as the Chief of Office in the Department of Management and led the Project Management Office in the Department of Field Support.

Her extensive background also includes roles such as Director of Finance at the Academy of Finland, Budget Officer for Peacekeeping Financing at the United Nations, and Finance Officer at the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).
