Medha Katehara

Medha Katehara is a Computer Science graduate student at UMass-Amherst with a strong background in applied machine learning, focusing on building software solutions for real-world business challenges.

With three years of experience in machine learning and deep learning, Medha has gained expertise in cutting-edge architectures and using ML & DL to address tangible problems, aiming to create impactful software solutions.

Medha holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from The LNM Institute of Information Technology.

Medha has a diverse professional background, having worked at prestigious organizations such as Microsoft, Hyundai AutoEver India, Squad, Gramener, and Google, where roles ranged from Data Scientist to Machine Learning Engineer and Software Engineer.

Medha's past roles also include research internships at organizations like Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, showcasing a well-rounded experience in academia and industry.

In addition to academic and professional achievements, Medha Katehara has played an active role in extracurricular activities, serving as the General Secretary of Sports, Core Team Member of the Training & Placement Cell, and part of the Counselling Cell at The LNM Institute of Information Technology.
