Meagan Mnich is a driven and talented professional who has navigated a successful career transition from life as a scientist in the laboratory to supporting the progress of science through operational functions. With a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Science from the University of California, Davis, her educational background is impressive, and her work history is even more so. She has technical expertise as an environmental biogeochemist but has since transitioned to supporting operations to bring tools and technology to all scientists to expedite research progress.
Throughout her career, Meagan has demonstrated her versatility and expertise in a variety of roles. She has served as a Special Projects Associate and Executive Assistant to the President of Science at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. She has also worked as a Hydrologist and Physical Science Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and an Intern at Dolphin Quest Hawaii. Her work history also includes roles as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Cornell Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, a Research Assistant II at Cornell Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, and a Research Assistant at Cornell University Biological and Environmental Engineering.
